Busiswa Calls Nuz Queen A Thief, Thats Why The Diss Track
Things got heated up over the weekend after we heard of series of fights and beefs, seem like it has found its way into the South African Gqom industry as Busiswa calls Nuz Queen a thief, after releasing diss track for her.
On Friday evening, Dj Maphorisa, Riky Rick, DJ Ed Harris, Sdudla Somdantso and Busiswa launched a song called Gagashe II, which is a spinoff from Sdudla Somdantso and Pearl’s original song titled, Gagashe (Laze lavuuuuki idemoni lami bo) which was released in March this year.

Although her lyrics on the track were deemed to be a diss towards TDK Macasette and Babes Wodumo, the Kalawa Chikita quickly cleared the air saying that she was praising the artists and only coming for Nuz because she believes that she stole the song from Sdudla. She expressed her views in a series of tweets using the hashtag #Justice4SdudlaSomdantso.

Although Busiswa gives a disclaimer in the song saying that it is not a ‘diss track’, Nuz Queen clearly got infuriated by the allegations made against her and hit back at Busiswa, resulting in a Twitter fight between the Gqom artists which escalated to the accused threatening to hit the ‘Ngoku’ hitmaker.
The heavily pregnant Nuz Queen shared her side of the story in a recent interview on Metro FM, saying that she had recorded her song first and said that it was just a coincidence that she had the same phrase in her song.: “I recorded mine in February…why am I saying that? I know it’s mixed up, theirs is on YouTube in March as they say that theirs was recorded in March…mine was recorded in February…I usually do my projects and I don’t finish them…so what had happened was, I wanted to release the video on TV…I saw this going up and I was like: “Ok, damn they gonna say I stole the song so I was trying to talk to these people and tell them that: “You know what guys, I have this song that has ‘Laze lavuki idemoni lami bo’ that same line, please do not go around saying that I stole the song,”
Nuz Queen went on to call Busiswa a hypocrite for allegedly sending her a message to join forces with her after the Twar they had on social media.
“I received a message from Busiswa saying that I must be on her side…I must release a song and she can help me push the song and everything…Busiswa is a hypocrite, she’s here dissing me claiming that she’s helping these kids…we all know that she’s savaging the song, we having artists that are putting their claws on the song because it’s the biggest song in the country right now, and they tryna make me the bad guy…I ain’t the bad guy, and u’Busiswa should know this, I’m coming for her.”
Watch as Nuz Queen says that she is planning to release a follow up to Busiswa‘s verse from ‘Gagashe’:
